East Alabama Arts Society Residency Wed, Jul. 23 2008 Mary Ann will serve as Artist in Residence for the East Alabama Arts Society August 14-17. She will do school performances, perform a free concert called American Stories: Carl Sandburg and his Songbag, and give a dinner theater performance of How the West Was Sung.

New England Conservatory Vocal Chamber Music Class Wed, Jul. 23 2008 June 24- July 10, 2008 Lanier taught a vocal chamber music course at the New England Conservaroty Summer School. Six participants studied and performed music of Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Dvorak, Saint-Saens, Chanler, Foster, Lawes, J.S. Bach and others.

Lanier Joins Music Faculty of Bridgewater State College Wed, Jul. 23 2008 September, 2007 Mary Ann joined the faculty of Bridgewater State College where she teaches Voice, Sight-singing and Eartraining, and general studies courses such as Music Apprecitaion and Voice Class.

New Position at Groton School Wed, Jul. 23 2008 Lanier named Music Lesson Program Coordinator at Groton School in July 2007.

World Premiere 2/10/06 Mon, Sep. 4 2006 Lanier premieres Graham Gordon Ramsay's Be My Love: songs of love, lust and other folly at Follen Community Church, Lexington on Friday, February 10, 2006. The song cycle for soprano, violin, cello, and piano was commissioned by American Classics for Ms. Lanier. Texts are by Shakespeare, Marlowe, and Ralegh.

Lanier to begin teaching at NEC Prep Mon, Sep. 4 2006 Beginning in September 2006 Mary Ann joins the teaching faculty of the New England Conservatory Division of Preparatory Studies and Continuing Education teaching private voice.
